Workshop on Living Lab Methodology by CAPTAIN project partners in Italy

In the framework of the CAPTAIN H2020 project, the “Azienda Provinciale per i Servizi Sanitari” (APSS) healthcare provider, Social IT social and health-care software and consulting company (SIT) and the University of Trento (UNITN), all partners of CAPTAIN, organized a two-day workshop, held on 23-24 May at the premises of AUSILIA Living Lab at Villa Rosa Rehabilitation Hospital in Pergine, Italy.
The workshop was entitled “CAPTAIN Workshop on Living Lab Methodology” and was focused on the best practices on Agile methodology, as well as on the Stakeholders’ community networks of Living Labs. Representatives of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Nively, the Dublin City University (DCU), Fundación Intras (INTRAS), the Maynooth University (MU) and "Archangelos Michael" Nursing Home (AMEN), CAPTAIN EU partners attended the Workshop, participating in an open discussion, regarding the designing of a common methodology that will be used in the five Living Labs of the project, during the “co-creation with stakeholders” procedures of CAPTAIN -coach assistant for the elderly people- project.
Except for its main objectives, the Workshop was also a good opportunity for the attendants to discuss on the next steps of CAPTAIN, planning the pilot trials of the project, with respect to ethical and safety issues.
